Directorate of Academic Planning
It is with great pleasure and a deep sense of responsibility that I extend a warm welcome to all members of the University community, members of management, academic staff, students, and esteemed visitors to the Directorate of Academic Planning.
As the Director of Academic Planning, I am honoured to welcome you to this strategic academic and administrative arm of the University, established to coordinate, guide, and support the planning, development, and quality assurance of academic programmes and institutional academic policies.
The Directorate of Academic Planning plays a central role in ensuring the orderly development of academic structures, programmes, and policies in line with the University’s vision and national regulatory standards. We are responsible for coordinating programme accreditation processes, monitoring academic standards, managing institutional data for planning purposes, and supporting evidence-based decision-making for academic development.
We are committed to promoting excellence in academic planning, quality assurance, and institutional effectiveness. Our operations are guided by a strong dedication to continuous improvement, academic integrity, and compliance with regulatory frameworks that govern higher education delivery.
Through collaboration with faculties, departments, and other administrative units, the Directorate ensures that academic programmes remain relevant, competitive, and aligned with global best practices. We also support the development of new academic initiatives that respond to emerging societal and labour market needs.
As you engage with the Directorate of Academic Planning, we encourage active participation in academic planning processes and adherence to approved standards and guidelines. We remain committed to supporting the University’s mission of excellence in teaching, research, and community service.
Thank you for visiting the Directorate of Academic Planning. We look forward to working with you in advancing academic excellence and institutional growth.
